June 22 – July 7: “Preparing” is the theme of this sprint. We knocked out a ton of tech debt, focused on reliability, logging, infrastructure, and iteration cycles.

Company Milestones

• Patron members have been onboarded and a transparent community has been established
• 104 Patreon subscribers
• 250,000 Instagram accounts reached
• 5,000 new followers
• 200,000 views on Instagram

Release Notes

Content Management Platform (CMP)

• Large refactor to transition our CMP from SPA/ Modal views to route views to display as much information as possible that way moderators and staff can make informed decisions
• Refactor is completed allowing staff to view the following:
  • Reported Vehicles
  • Reported Events
  • Reported Posts
  • Reported Business Reviews
  • Reported Users
• Added ability to search for specific users
• Email support for staying transparent with our users
• Added ability for staff to take action:
  • Moderators
    • Warn users
    • Escalate reports to admins
  • Admins
    • Ban users
    • Clear reports/ warnings against a user
    • Approve role requests for when users want to be a moderator

Badges

• Notifications for when a user receives a badge
• Scheduled worker that runs multiple times a day to reward users when the meet the criteria to earn a badge

Mobile cleanup

• Handling when the mobile phone the app is running on does not have access to internet
• Handling when the backend is down for maintenance or being upgraded
• Bug fixes and performance optimizations
• Removed the terms & conditions + privacy policy form to the register screen to comply to GDPR guidelines and maintain user transparency from the beginning.

What’s next?

This is an exciting chapter! We will be slowly introducing our patrons and volunteers to the app to begin collecting bug reports, feature requests and feedback!
